Add a Destination Group to your workflow
It is possible to add multiple groups of destinations to your workflow. This feature can come in handy if you have many destinations saved to your Switchboard account and you want to keep them organized. Grouping destinations is particularly useful when multiple team members work on the same Switchboard account.
By default, the first empty destination group is added to your workflow whenever you create a new workflow in your Switchboard account.
To add a destination group, click the yellow Add Group button.
A pop-up window will open.
As you scroll down, you will see a field where you can enter the name of your group. You will also have the option to apply or create a template. If you are setting up your Switchboard account for the first time, we recommend giving the group a name and then clicking the submit button. You can apply other options, such as autostart and a template, later on.
Click Submit.
Congrats, you've added a destination group to your workflow. Now, you can begin adding social destinations to the group!
Add Destinations
Direct Click
Add a group's destinations (social channels) by clicking on the social channel icon at the bottom of the group. This is the quickest and easiest way to add common social channels like Facebook, Twitch, YouTube, X(Twitter), and LinkedIn.
Repeat to add more social channels to the group. In this example, I added a YouTube channel and a Facebook page. Note that each destination will follow similar steps.
Add Destination Button
Click the yellow add destination button to access the other destination types that can be added to the group.
New Destinations: An expanded destination menu that will give you access to more destination types.
