Switchboard's Autostart feature will allow you to automatically start multistreaming to your destinations simply by starting the live stream video on your encoder.
- You don't have to log into Switchboard and press Go Live.
- The Autostart feature is turned on per destination group.

The Auto Start feature must be enabled ( turned on) BEFORE receiving video from the encoder.
Enable Autostart from the Edit Group pop-up window
Click on the pencil icon to open the “Edit Group” pop-up window.
Click the toggle button to enable the Autostart feature.
A Gray toggle means the Autostart is OFF for the destination group.
A Green toggle means that Autostart is ON for the destination group.
Scroll down and click Save to confirm.
The window will close, and a green pop-up bar will display at the bottom of the workflow page to indicate a change has been applied to the destination group.
The Autostart status will display at the top of the destination group.

Instantly GO LIVE to the social channels in the same destination group without needing to log into your Switchboard Account.
STEP 1
Turn on the encoder and send the live video to your Switchboard workflow.
The live video will publish to the destinations automatically.
You don't have to log into Switchboard and press Go Live.
Ending the live video
To end the live stream, press the stop streaming button on the live streaming encoder as you normally would, and the broadcast will automatically stop streaming on the social channels.
Disable the GO Live Autostart Feature
Ensure the encoder has completely stopped sending live video into your Switchboard account before disabling the Autostart feature.
The stream status below the preview window should display a red dot and
"Not receiving video."

- Click the toggle button to disable the Autostart feature.
- A Gray toggle means the Autostart is OFF for the destination group.
- Scroll down and click Save to confirm.
- The window will close, and a green pop-up bar will display at the bottom of the workflow page to indicate a change has been applied to the destination group.
Questions about the GO Live Autostart Feature
QUESTION: What if I've already started sending the video into my Switchboard account, but I've forgotten to add a destination to the destination group that has the GO Live Autostart enabled?
Log into your Switchboard Account and proceed with one of the methods below:
Method 1
Press Go Live next to the destination if it already exists in the current workflow.
Method 2
Add the destination to the destination group that has the GO Live Autostart enabled, and then press Go Live.
Once the destination is added to the destination group with the GO Live Autostart enabled, it is ready to start automatically the next time you send in the live video from your encoder.
QUESTION: What if I forget to turn on the GO Live Autostart feature before sending the video into Switchboard?
No worries, you can still log into your Switchboard Account and press Go Live for the appropriate destinations.
At the end of your live broadcast, make sure the encoder has stopped sending video into your Switchboard account.
