Switchboard supports live streaming in Low Latency mode to YouTube channels.
The Low latency feature is enabled per template and the template must be applied to a destination group.
Follow the steps below to turn on the Low Latency mode.
STEP 1
Select main menu top left.
STEP 2
Choose Templates.
STEP 3
Scroll to the bottom of the template and check the box to turn on Low Latency Mode.
The field will change from black to teal and a checkmark will display, indicating that low latency has been turned on.
STEP 4
Once you've enabled Low Latency Mode on the template, return to the Workflow page and apply the template to the appropriate destination group.

READY TO GO LIVE!
- Start sending video from your encoder to Switchboard Live.
- Verify that the video is displaying in the Switchboard confidence monitor.
- Go Live to your destinations one by one or Bulk select using the white box at the top of the destination group.
The stream title, description, and hashtags will be applied to the social destinations within the same group, including the shared destinations.
The latency mode will display Low-Latency when you are live streaming on the YouTube Channel.
