Important Information about streaming to LinkedIn Live
Approved LinkedIn Live Broadcaster
You must ensure that you have been approved via LinkedIn before attempting to add your LinkedIn individual or company page. Check out the - LinkedIn Live Criteria
Adding a New LinkedIn Live Destination
Click on the LinkedIn icon.
Choose the appropriate region for your location.
Press "Authorize "
An Authorization Modal will appear. Follow the prompts.
It helps to be already logged into your LinkedIn account.
You'll be allowed to do so if you're not logged into your LinkedIn account at this step.
Once you select the appropriate LinkedIn Profile, you'll be prompted to authenticate LinkedIn.
Authorize Switchboard - press "Allow"
Press Close. Press Finish.
Congrats! You’ve successfully added LinkedIn as a destination to your Switchboard Account.
Going Live on LinkedIn Live
Turn on your encoder and send the video to Switchboard. When the video is on the Switchboard confidence monitor, press the green GO Live button next to the LinkedIn Live destination.
Pro Tip: You can save time and eliminate the need to press Go Live in Switchboard by enabling the autostart feature, explained here: Enable the autostart feature.
Congratulations! You are now multistreaming with Switchboard Live to your LinkedIn Live profile.
