Connecting LinkedIn to your Switchboard account for the First Time.
When you first sign up for a Switchboard Account, you'll need to connect LinkedIn to your Switchboard Account.
You can do this while setting up the first Stream Group in your account.
Click the Connect More button at the top of the Add Group Modal.
Select LinkedIn Profile from the Destination Menu.
An Authorization Modal will appear.
Follow the prompts.
- It helps to be already logged into your LinkedIn account.
- You can do so if you need to log into your LinkedIn account at this step.
- Press Allow, and continue following the prompts until you reach the Success Screen.
- Click "Close" on the Success screen.
Congrats! You’ve successfully added a LinkedIn Profile to your Switchboard Account.
Connecting a LinkedIn Page to your Switchboard account for the First Time.
✨ Note: Before connecting a LinkedIn Page, you'll need to connect a LinkedIn Profile to your Switchboard Account.
While in the Stream Group Modal click Connect More.
- This time, select LinkedIn Page from the list.
- Another modal will pop open.
- Your LinkedIn profile is selected by default.
- Next, choose a LinkedIn Page to add to the group by clicking the check box next to it.
- Click Submit.
Going Live on LinkedIn Live
Turn on your live streaming encoder and send the video to your Switchboard Workflow.
Press the green GO Live button next to the LinkedIn Live destination when the video is on the Switchboard confidence monitor.
Pro Tip: You can save time and eliminate the need to press Go Live in Switchboard by enabling the autostart feature, explained here: Enable the autostart feature.
Congratulations! You are now multistreaming with Switchboard Live to your LinkedIn Live profile.

Keyframe: 30 fps
Key interval: 2 seconds ( 60 frames)
Video bitrate: 3.5 Mbps
Audio bitrate: 128 kbps
Audio sample: 48 kHz
Encoding: H264 video. AAc audio
