This article goes over the steps on how to connect your Switchboard Account with LinkedIn.
Important Information about streaming to LinkedIn Live
1. Approved LinkedIn Live Broadcaster
You must first make sure that you have been approved via LinkedIn prior to attempting to add your LinkedIn individual page or company page. You can request LinkedIn approval here:
2. LinkedIn Requires a stream title for live videos.
If you see “No template” displayed at the top of the destination group, it means that you are not providing a stream title for the live video.
Without providing a stream title, LinkedIn may reject the video, preventing your video from publishing to their platform. See the difference below.
It’s very simple to add a stream title for your live videos.
First, create a template and then apply the template to the destination group.

Adding a New LinkedIn Live Destination
Press the Add Destination button.
Choose LinkedIn from the list.
Choose the appropriate region for your location. Press "Authorize Switchboard Live"
An Authorization Modal will appear. Follow the prompts.
It helps to already be logged into your LinkedIn account.
If you're not logged into your LinkedIn account, you'll be presented with the opportunity to do so at this step.
Once you select the appropriate LinkedIn Profile, you'll be prompted to authenticate LinkedIn.
Authorize Switchboard - press "Allow"
Press Close. Press Finish.
Congrats! You’ve successfully added LinkedIn as a destination to your Switchboard Account.
Going Live on LinkedIn Live
1. Please make sure to have live video present on the Switchboard confidence monitor, prior to starting your multistream to LinkedIn Live.
2. The Go Live button will remain gray until the live streaming video is present and detected in the Switchboard confidence monitor.
Ready to Go Live!
Turn on your encoder and send video into Switchboard. When the video is present on the Switchboard confidence monitor, press the green GO Live button next to the LinkedIn Live destination.
Pro Tip: You can save time and eliminate the need to press Go Live in Switchboard by enabling the autostart feature, explained here: Enable the autostart feature.
Congratulations! You are now multistreaming with Switchboard Live to your LinkedIn Live profile.

Keyframe: 30 fps
Key interval: 2 seconds ( 60 frames)
Video bitrate: 3.5 Mbps
Audio bitrate: 128 kbps
Audio sample: 48 kHz
Encoding: H264 video. AAc audio
