Guests are a great way to leverage your brand and social channel. Having guests participating in your stream depends on your broadcast set-up; the type of Camera and Encoder set up that you create.

Switchboard Live is a streaming platform that broadcasts live content to multiple destinations. Switchboard Cloud does not store or archive your video.

Of course you can use pre-recorded video!
Switchboard Live does not store or archive your video. You will need to make sure that your workflow is set-up the same as though you were streaming a live video.
How do Chat integration and Comments work when broadcasting to these various systems?
We do not support the aggregation of comments at this time. You will need to monitor the comments on their corresponding platforms.
Which Server should I choose?
We recommend using the server closest to you. If you are unsure and located in the US, select US (geo based) from the drop down list. If you are located outside of the US, select Global (geo based).
Are the live streams saved to the individual social networks when they are concluded?
Yes, they are saved to the individual networks when they are concluded.
Switchboard Cloud does not store or archive your video.
How do I stream to sites that are not listed?
You would do so via Custom RTMP. As long as your destination supports RTMP you will be able to send your stream to that destination.
How do I Embed my video stream onto my own website?
You can purchase one of our video embed players (Pro subscription) as an add-on feature to your plan. Contact sales if interested in doing so. Alternatively, if you use YouTube as one of your destinations, you can use the embed from your channel and add it to your own website.
