Did you know that you can add your Twitter/Periscope destination as a Custom RTMP in your Switchboard Cloud Account?
Benefits:
- You can use up to 250 characters in the title of your stream when you start your broadcast from Periscope Producer. When you natively "Go Live" from Periscope on a mobile device, you are limited to 120 characters in the title of your stream.
- Cross promotion. You can send your live broadcast stream to other Twitter/Periscope destinations. This is great for big one time events, and can help gain more followers.
- You can control when to Go Live. Simply start sending video from your Switchboard Cloud account to your Twitter/Periscope destination. Make sure video is present in the periscope preview mirror, update details, and GO Live!
