As of 4:33 pm EDT our Switchboard Live App has been restored.
All Facebook streaming services have been reverted back to normal.

It appears that our Switchboard Live app was disabled via Facebook. While we escalate this matter, please refer to the updated support article that details the steps to stream/multistream to Facebook via a Switchboard Custom RTMP destination with a manually entered Facebook server URL and corresponding Stream key. Previously authorized destinations may need to be reauthorized.

We have received correspondence from the proper compliance team at Facebook and are waiting for an update on the next steps.

11/21/2020 - Switchboard Update @ 4:45 pm EDT - Facebook App Issue
No new information to report. To clear up any miscommunication, streaming to Facebook is 100% supported but it will need to be accomplished manually via the method of copy/pasting you server and stream key from Facebook into a Custom RTMP destination in Switchboard. This process should take 5 minutes to set up and is an alternative/backup should an API issue arise again.

No new information to report. We are currently crafting an updated and more Facebook specific support article to explain how to connect a Switchboard Custom RTMP destination to Facebook to enable the ability to stream to Facebook manually.
11/21/2020 - Switchboard Update @ 1:30 pm EDT - Facebook App Issue
We have chatted with our Facebook partner manager and have been able to identify that our Facebook application (Switchboard Cloud) was disabled and thus has caused the issue that all of our users are experiencing. We are hoping to have this escalated internally within Facebook to have this resolved, but at this current time we have no additional information.

One of the questions that we have received while this issue is present, is the inability to see previous live videos published via Switchboard on Facebook as they appear to be missing or gone. Your video content is NOT removed or deleted. Once this issue is resolved all previous live content will be visible.

- Create a Custom RTMP Destination within Switchboard Live to be able to be able to stream to your Facebook Destinations. If you need help setting up a Custom RTMP Destination within Switchboard Please follow this support ARTICLE to do so.
