Did you receive a ViralStreamShare™ invite? This support article explains how to opt-in and authorize your social channels so that you can carry the next live stream and provide content to your audience.
It's super simple to share your social channels on the ViralStreamShare™ page.
- You do not need to have a Switchboard account to share your destinations.
- You need the proper credentials to authorize the social channels successfully.
- You can authorize your social channels on a desktop or mobile device.
- You don't need to download anything.
How to Opt-In Your Social channels
To begin, click on the social channel you want to opt in. The screens vary depending on the social destination, but the process is relatively the same.
How to opt-in to YouTube
- Note: You'll need to enable live streaming on your YouTube channel. This process can take up to 24 hours. Click on this link to learn how to enable live streaming on YouTube.
Press the YouTube Icon.
You may be prompted to log into your Google account.
Select the appropriate YouTube channel.
Press the Allow button.
How to opt-in Facebook
Press the Facebook icon.
You may be prompted to log into your Facebook account.
Press continue.
Select the Facebook destination type.
How to opt-in Twitter
Press the Twitter Icon
You may be prompted to log into your Twitter Account
Press Authorize app.
How to opt-in Twitch
Press the Twitch Icon.
You may be prompted to log into your Twitch account.
Press Authorize at the bottom of the page.
Destinations have successfully opted in!
So what happens next?
When you authorize your social channels, they will "automagically" appear on the Switchboard Account Owner's page.
When the Switchboard account owner goes live, they will also be able to multistream to your social channels.
How to Opt-out Your Social channels
If you decide that you no longer wish to share your social channels for live streaming, you can easily remove them. Follow the steps below to learn how.
Step 1
Open the Viral StreamShare™ page ( the link shared with you).
Press the three dots next to the destination that you want to remove.
Step 2
A small pop-up will display; click Delete.
Step 3
Press Yes to confirm your choice.
The social channels have successfully been removed and will no longer be opted in to carry the live stream.
How to Save and Retrieve your Session
Click the button Save or Retrieve Session.
Select Country Code.
Enter a phone number.
Click proceed.
An OTP Code will be sent to the phone number you’ve entered.
Type the Code into the field.
Click Proceed.
Retrieve a saved session.
Open the link that was shared with you.
Click the button Save or Retrieve Session.
Enter your phone number.
A code will be sent to the phone number that you’ve entered.
If a phone number on file matches, you will retrieve the session.
Type the code in, and press proceed.
The destinations that you’ve opted in will display.
