The purpose of this support article is to explain how you can tell if you have an Old (legacy) Group versus a New group in your Switchboard Cloud Account.
Old Group versus New Group
- Old (legacy) groups are displayed at the top of the Switchboard Workflow; New Groups are shown below old groups.
- If you have several groups on your workflow, you may need to scroll down to see any new groups you've created.
Old (legacy) Groups are indicated by the red bar next to the destination group header.
New Groups are indicated by the green bar next to the destination group header.
How to Re-create an Old Legacy Group into a New Group
Press the Yellow "Add Group" button to create a New Group.
Give the Group a name.
Choose a Template and apply it to the New Group.
How to Delete an Old (legacy) Group from the workflow
Next, you'll need to remove all the destinations from the Old Group and move them to the New Group you've just created.
- The orange banner with the messaging at the bottom of the workflow page will disappear when you remove all of the Old Legacy Groups from the workflow.
Remove all the destinations from the Old Group ( this will delete the Old Legacy Group) from the workflow.
TIP: Take a Screenshot as a reference before you remove destinations from an Old Legacy Group.
Add Destinations to the New Group as Existing Destinations.
In the New Group, Click the Plus Icon.
Select Existing Destination from the menu.
Select the destinations from the list by clicking the checkboxes.
You've successfully recreated an OLD Legacy into a New Group.
