The purpose of this support article is to explain how to update an old Legacy group to a New Group.
The orange banner at the bottom of the workflow page will disappear when the old legacy groups are removed from the workflow.

Update Legacy Groups into New Groups in one step.
STEP 1 - THAT'S IT!
Click the "Migrate to New Groups" button at the bottom of the legacy group.
Wait a few seconds, and the new group will display on the workflow.
Refresh your web page if you don't see the new group immediately.
Difference between Old Group versus New Group
- Old (legacy) groups are displayed at the top of the Switchboard Workflow; New Groups are shown below old groups.
- You may need to scroll down to see any new groups you've created if you have several groups on your workflow.
Old (legacy) Groups are indicated by the red bar next to the destination group header.
We've added the yellow "Migrate to New Groups" button at the bottom of Legacy Groups as a simple and easy way to change the legacy group into a new one. |
New Groups are indicated by the green bar next to the destination group header.
Manually re-create an Old Legacy Group into a New Group
STEP 1
Press the Yellow "Add Group" button to create a New Group.
STEP 2
Give the Group a name.
STEP 3
Choose a Template and apply it to the New Group.
STEP 4
Save Template.
How to Delete an Old (legacy) Group from the workflow
Next, you'll need to remove all the destinations from the Old Group and move them to the New Group you've just created.
- The orange banner with the messaging at the bottom of the workflow page will disappear when you remove all of the Old Legacy Groups from the workflow.
Step 1.
Remove all the destinations from the Old Group ( this will delete the Old Legacy Group) from the workflow.
TIP: Take a Screenshot as a reference before you remove destinations from an Old Legacy Group.
Step 2.
Add Destinations to the New Group as Existing Destinations.
In the New Group, Click the Plus Icon.
Step 3.
Select Existing Destination from the menu.
Step 4.
Select the destinations from the list by clicking the checkboxes.
Click DONE.
You've successfully recreated an OLD Legacy into a New Group.
